ABOUT

Cynthia is an architectural designer who has studied and practiced in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan, UK, Germany and Norway. To her, architecture and arts are vessels for existential remembrances and collective activities; tools to reveal hidden agenda in given contexts, respond to cocurrent social issues and offer reliefs through creative possibilities.

She hopes to work as a synthesis of an architect, a cultural thinker and a practical artist, who enchains intangible ideologies to tangible reality. Engaged in research, exhibitions, and sustainable projects, she is one of the awardees of the Design for Asia Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award.

Cynthia is currently working on a few Japanese x Ugandan social projects in Tokyo and an installation in North Point, funded by HK Art Centre & Urban Renewal fund.
